Anton Baša - URBAN SILENCE Séria fotografií pracuje s témou veľkomesta a možnými prístupmi v spôsobe jeho zobrazenia. Namiesto rušných scén, ktoré vyjadrujú prvý vizuálny prejav súčasných metropol, súbor prezentuje snímky bez ľudí a ponúka divákovi priestor na individuálnu interpretáciu. Nájdené zátišia, polocelky mestskej krajiny, ale aj jej detaily v sebe nesú prítomnosť človeka len nepriamo, ako aj motívy pripomínajúce prirodné vzory či prítomnosť života vo všeobecnosti. Názov Urban Silence vyjadruje túžbu hľadania pokoja, stíšenia sa a zamyslenia sa nad hlbším významom scenérií a symbolov v meste. Fotografie môžu byť použité aj v alternatívnej forme pri dodržaní vzťahov medzi nimi. Priestory medzi fotografiami definujú ich možné použitie jednotlivo, vo dvojiciach či trojiciach (v rámci dvojíc, trojíc sú menšie rozostupy) Anton Baša - URBAN SILENCE This photo series works with the city theme and the various approaches to the ways city may be portrayed. The set of photos presents images without people, and so, offers the viewers space for individual interpretation of these, instead of capturing the typical busy scenes of a city. Found still lifes, partial cityscapes, as well as the details within them, evoke the presence of a human only indirectly, similarly to the motifs resembling natural patterns, or the presence of life in general. The name Urban Silence expresses the desire to find peace and reflect over the deeper meaning of scenery and symbolism in the city. The photographs can be used in an alternate form, whilst keeping certain relationship between them. The spaces between individual photographs define their possible usage separately, in pairs or triplets (making the spaces smaller when used in pairs or triplets).
